Terms of use
Ente Mallu Foods is a food journal and directory — not a booking service, not a review platform, not a health authority. Using the site means you're fine with what follows.
1. Who we are
Ente Mallu Foods ("we", "us") is an independently run, non-commercial food journal covering Kerala and other South Indian food in Mumbai, published at mallufood.in. We are not a company and not a registered business, and we are not affiliated with any restaurant, cook or caterer listed here.
2. What the information here is — and isn't
Everything on this site is for general information only. Details about places, menus, prices, opening hours, locations and contact numbers are compiled from first-hand visits, restaurant websites, social media pages, online listings and reader submissions. Addresses, phone numbers, opening status and cuisine tags are not independently verified by us, and cuisine tags in particular are best-guess.
We make no representations or warranties, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability or availability of anything published here. Places close, move, change hands and get worse; prices, menus and timings change without notice. Always confirm the details directly with the place — a quick call — before you make the trip or spend money.
Nothing here is a guarantee about a place's quality, hygiene, licensing, pricing, or whether it is still open. We are not responsible for your experience at any place we list.
3. Food, allergies and health
We describe food; we do not certify it. Ingredient notes, veg or non-veg descriptions, and anything we say about a dish are informal and can be wrong or out of date. If you have an allergy, an intolerance, a religious or dietary restriction, or any medical condition affected by food, confirm directly with the kitchen before you eat. We accept no liability for allergic reactions, illness, or any harm arising from food you eat at a place you found through this site.
4. Listings are free, and unpaid
We do not sell listings, placement, ranking or coverage. Nobody has paid to appear on this site, and nobody can. If a place is listed, it is because we or a reader thought it was worth knowing about.
Listing a restaurant, cook, caterer or product here is not an endorsement or recommendation of it, and it is not an endorsement of us by them. We have no control over — and accept no responsibility for — the quality, hygiene, safety, taste, ingredients, allergen content, pricing or service of anything listed. Any visit you make or transaction you enter into is solely between you and that place.
5. What you send us
When you use a form on the contribute page, you are asking us to publish or act on what you wrote. By sending it, you confirm that:
- it is yours to send, and does not infringe anyone's copyright or other rights;
- it is honest — not a fake recommendation, a competitor's smear, or a claim you cannot stand behind;
- it is not defamatory, abusive, discriminatory or unlawful;
- you are happy for us to publish it, edit it for length and clarity, and credit it to the name you gave us.
You keep ownership of what you write. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to publish, edit and archive it on this site. We may decline, edit or remove any submission for any reason, and we are under no obligation to publish anything.
6. If you are listing your kitchen or catering business
By submitting a business through the "list your kitchen or catering business" form, you confirm that you own or are authorised to represent that business, that the details you give us are accurate, and that you want the contact details you provided to be published publicly on this site. You remain responsible for your own licences, registrations and food-safety compliance — we do not check them. Ask us and we will take your listing down.
7. Corrections and removal
If you run a place listed here and want the entry corrected or removed, email mallufoods34@gmail.com and we will sort it out. The same goes for anyone who thinks something we published about them is wrong, outdated, or should not be here at all.
8. Using the site
Read it, share it, link to it, quote it with credit. Please do not scrape or bulk-copy the directory to rebuild it somewhere else, do not use the contact details here to send marketing, and do not try to break, overload or misuse the site or its forms.
9. Our own content
The writing, design, illustrations and structure of this site are ours. Restaurant names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners and appear here for identification only.
10. Links out
We link to restaurant websites, maps and social pages that we do not control. We have no say over the nature, content or availability of those sites, and we do not endorse the views expressed on them. What happens there is between you and them.
11. Liability
The site is provided as-is, with no warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss, cost, illness or damage arising from your use of this site or your reliance on anything published here.
12. Changes
We may update these terms as the site changes. The date at the top tells you when we last did.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Mumbai have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
